Americans, what do you think when...?

You hear "South Africa"? A jungle? Lions roaming around? Do you believe Africa is one country? What are your first thoughts?

And no, I do not believe that Africa is one country - it's a continent. The only continent that is both a continent and a country is Australia.

it's someplace i would love to travel to and visit cape town as well as other parts of africa. i would say that i've been educated well enough to know that africa isn't just one country. i know theres lots of jungle but lots of dessert as well. not to mention all kinds of beautiful wildlife.

I think of a coastal country. I would LOVE to travel there sometime!

No I do not definitely believe that it is a jungle.....I have been to J-burg about 15 years ago and then it was as modern as any US city .....would like to go back again, have some friends there that I still stay in contact with.
