Americans: What is your overall opinion of North Korea?

You general consensus from what you have seen on news/documentaries and the internet. Do you think they are as bad as the government are claiming them to be?

obviously. and the fact that people are starving doesn't help their image.

The people are probably as good as any other country. The authoritarian government has just indoctrinated them as a cult for their leader. They have been drinking the Koolaid for decades and have a warped view of the outside world or no knowlege at all.

No that is just USA propaganda! north korea does need to improves there economy at least.The USA trys to make North Korea look bad because they use communist while the USA use democracy.but the truth is USA is in bad shape also look how many kids in the USA don't want to go to schoo also USA has a high crime rate and suffers from gangs.so the USA need to improve theself while North Korea need better economy so people won't go hungry.

I like the people, they are very nice.

The government on the other hand is sneaky and power hungry.
