  1. The USA has the highest drinking age in the world. And it applies to everybody, even if they are a tourist from a country where the age is younger. No exceptions.

  2. You can't drink Unless your 21 in the UNited States regardless of where u came from

  3. She may have been allowed to drink, but not because of her UK passport.  The drinking age in the U.S. is pretty much universal now at 21.  Where you are from doesnt matter.  On the other hand, some places are less, shall we say, reluctant to break the law than others.

  4. which state was she in? most people think all 50 states the drinking age is 21 but there are like 2 or 3 where its under 21. anyway. in the US except for the exception of the 2 or 3 states you arent supposed to serve alcohol to a person who is under the age of 21. the person probably looked at it and didnt have a problem with it or didnt know the state liquer laws. . my friend baught alcohol with his brothers ID and he looks nothing like his brother.

i always hear of Canadians that come down here and try getting alcohol because they think its ok for them to drink because they are Canadian. when your in our house you go by our rules and that also means you have the same right as we do. (aslong as your here legally)

  5. Absolutely not - the law in every state in the US is 21.  Your here - its under our law

  6. All states are 21, if you look young enough they may check your ID.

However, actual enforcement of this law varies, depending mostly on the people selling the alcohol.  Most establishments would never knowingly sell to minors, but many places are careless or not very strict on checking IDs.  Usually the people who get away with it are people that look old enough, people who have "connections", or attractive/flirtacious people (girls) who can woo their way into bars.  I'm 20 and don't look older than that, I couldn't ever get into a bar or club in the US, but I've been able to buy beer at local joints (places owned by hippies or Koreans) because they just don't ask for ID.

If you wanna legally drink underage in North America, you can go to Canada (19?) or Mexico (doesn't matter).
