Don't you think that the Americans have got a cheek over expecting UK co-operation with their BAE investigation ? How much co-operation do you think the UK government would get from the White House if they started investigating the commercial activities of Boeing ?

  1. Happens all the time.  The US has NEVER been in the way.  The question I have is why would your government get in the way of a safety investigation unless they knew there was a problem and they are on the take!

  2. The what, sorry, but that really hasn't made much news over here.

  3. My answer is directed to the insulting @ss hole above ....SERGEANT SCHULTZ.  ( I used to watch you on Hogans Hero's )

You don't know what your talking about...the US sent everything we had to you Brits in 1938,right through 45.

We produced 50,000 Sherman tanks and they all went to Europe to push back Hitler from the banks of the English Channel. We sent Grummen Hellcats and P-51 Mustangs. We sent thousands of boats to cross the channel as well as half a million soldiers.

And as for your arrogant, ungrateful, Limey b*****d comment about our soldiers, I'll have you know there are thousands buried at Normandy and all across Europe. The first of which died while flying for the Royal Air Force.

We lost over 150,000 young men bailing out your @ss. I take offense at your stupid and obviously uninformed juvenile comments.

Tony Blair understood this and was a true friend and ally. You need to study history son. The younger generation haven't a clue about how to be friends.

I hope your country never gets it's back against the wall again but that's what it looks like it will take to wake up little terds like you.

Signed, U.S. Air Force Major, retired.

.EDIT  RESPONSE : Yes the US did ask for some repayment of the huge cost we undertook to help Europe. Do you expect that we should have done all of that and for free as well?  It was a token amount in compairison to the huge amount of arms and equipment sent. 30 years to pay off? That's a typical mortage here in the U.S. It takes most familys that long to pay off their home, so whats the big deal?

The English people at the time didn't think it was too much to ask and agreed to some repayment. Now you want to renegotiate the terms?

Also , it would have been quite hypocriticle to denounce two Imperialist empires ( n**i Germany and Japan) while supporting a third. That was the end of your own aspirations for world dominance. It was the tide of mankind at the time, not the result  of any of the U.S.'s demands, it was agreed to by all of Europe and allies et-al.

Today...we have the very same situation brewing in the mid East. One can draw close compairisons to the Germans building up in the 30's and launching a take over of Europe to the build up of Iran , Syria, Iraq for the take over of the mid East AND Europe too by the way . And Europe has been standing by once again letting it all happen right under their noses. The difference being, we, the U.S. recognised it and did something about it this time before they gained the strength that Germany did in 39.

At least SOME of the English people understand history and can see the writing on the wall ( noteably Tony Blair) and joins us in our efort to head off Muslim aspirations to dominate Europe.

  4. I think you are absolutely right.   Everything to do with USA is one way and we are often mug enough to go along with it.

In WWII they kindly let us have some WWI warships at enormous cost, along with other of their surplus gear.   We have only just finished paying for it yet Hollywood would have us believe that America did all the fighting.

Please do not misunderstand me, some of their troops, etc. were very good.   It is the politicians and their business backers who are the s**ts.

  5. Didn't you know, Americans rule the world...... (sarcasm oozing from every o*****e)

  6. Good question. You seem to have touched somewhat of a nerve  on this one.As an aside Search-rescue-ranger it was not just England in the war.Apart from the home nations or Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland there were numerous people from what we now call the commonwealth who fought with pride for a just cause as well as neutrals and those from occupied lands. The main player and winner in this as always is big business.

  7. Blame the governments. It's really got nothing to do with us civilians...like we really have a choice in these matters!

  8. BAE officials used US banks in their money laundering schemes. Of course there's an investigation.

The allegations of this corruption reach deep into the UK government, so it's no surprise that there are some officials who will do anything to keep the truth from coming out about this.

Also, the US is not the only foreign government to launch an investigation. BAE is a major player on the world stage and does business in a lot of countries.

If UK officials had evidence that Boeing corporate officers were committing felonies in the UK, yeah, they'd get cooperation from the US Government.

  9. We do. And so do Europeans with their ROHS lead free directives, ISO-9000 requirements, and of course their continued attacks on Microsoft. And the US has been more than compliant on all of these issues.

  10. bank of England is an evil entity thats behind all the troubles in the world from colonialism to Isreal!!

  11. It's not even on the radar over here - haven't heard one thing about it . . .

  12. Ranger your wrong you lost so many men on d-day first you fired your rockets into the sea, launched your tanks over 3 miles out to sea and lastly you dident need are "funnies" tanks with flails/ road layers etc.

you even had your own men under fire clearing mine fields and if you hadn't joined the war then you and I would be talking German

ps You left it late in ww1 and ww11 before joining, not knocking you or your men but your commanders

  13. John, don't you realize it is in the interest of Britain to co-operate with the investigation.  It ensures that everything is above board and fair.

Certainly Britain will want to prosecute anyone convicted of wrong doing and correct the lapses that allowed it.

  14. Not a lot, especially now that the @rse kisser has stepped down.

  15. No one cares

  16. america only thinks of it's own people, well only the wealthy white and jewish ones. they couldn't care less about the resr of the world. No empire last forever, one day people will look back at americans in the same way we look at the n**i's
