  1. you want to head to the northeast--the best cities and sites are there including new york city, boston, coastal new england ,etc---and the best part is that all these placea are within a few hours of eachother so you wont have to travel much...oh yea, being irish you will LOVE boston and definitely make your way up to portland maine as well

  2. Zion National Park is always hiring people from around the world.  Just meet 3 gals from Romania working there.

  3. Getting a work VISA for a few months wont' be easy, expecially if you want to "travel" for a few months.

The link from the above poster points to an H2B Visa. To obtain one of those you need to be sponsored by and employer. They are used a lot in resort areas (such as Ski Resorts in the Winter) to fill temporary jobs. However, I can't see a ski resort sponsoring you for 4 months and then allow you to travel for 2 of them.

Of course you can always try to get an illegal "under the table" job as a waitress or bartender. However, I warn against it. It is illegal, if the INS catches you it won't be pretty. If caught you will be detained at an INS center, they could hold you for months until your case gets processed (there are a lot of illegal aliens being caught all the time and there is a backlog in processing them). Once deported you will be banned from ever entering the US again.

  4. From what I just read on this website (linked in sources) its not that hard.

Just sounds like a bunch of paperwork but it doesn't seem that its a hard "Visa" to get to work here a couple of months.

I'll just let you read the source VS reposting everything here.

Oh. Thank the Irish for not voting for the lisbon treaty!

  5. I see alot of irish teens working on the south Jersey shore towns.  Maybe you would like it there.  Um I would recommend you seeing West Virgina/ Pa area.
