Nothing can beat the good old Irish pubs, the atmosphere is unique and the americans just can't beat it, Irish pubs are all over the world, theres loads in manhatten, rome, paris, etc. A pub in central Dublin will be the best expereince, nothing can beat it...

  1. True ... so very, very true.  Mine's a jar and whatever you're having!

  3. Well said!!!! ummmm yeah just well said

  4. lol You mean, American BARS? I cannot bring myself to call the crackhouses we serve liquor and beer in "pubs" here. Irish have it right.

  5. agreed.  Slán go fóill.

  6. The americans have not got a clue about pubs, ive never been to a good one yet.

  7. Ive been to Irish pubs in about 5 different countries, and there are always Americans in them, so the Americans loves the Irish pubs too.

  8. oh!no contest there hon!iRiSH ALL THE WAY BABY!irish pride!WHOO!

  9. Can't touch a statement like that, because when your right your right.

So all i can say is amen to that. All it's down to the pub for a pint, nothing beats it.

  10. I think you said it all.

  11. Dublin pubs are the best

  12. I totally agree with you!!!!!!!!!!

  13. You certainly cannot beat the Irish pubs no matter which country you are in!

    There is no comparison

  14. Irish pubs all the way! I've been in quite a few bars in my life, all over the place too, but nothing compares to a good old Irish pub.

You can't beat a proper Irish Guinness either! I've tried that pseudo-Guinness in America, Greece and even England. You just can't beat it at home!

I look forward to getting down to my local every week with a few mates, get a few jars in me and listen to the fiddly-dees! Especially when, as soon as I walk through the door, the barman already has my pint on... crackin stuff :-)

  15. irish pubs the best

  16. I can't agree

I've had some of the best times of my life in Dublin pubs but the craic was equally as good in Galway and sometimes the memory is longer lasting. A rainy day in Galway city and you dart into Sally Longs and the fire is on. Sit up on a high stool at the bar with a pint and a hot whisky and listen to the trad playing in the corner while your great coat steams on the back of your chair

    Fantastic memories

  17. Ohh aye we do have the best pubs but sure we take our pubs seriously don't we! I went to an 'Irish bar' in Cancun once called Paddy O'Briens wearing a Down GAA shirt (not from Down btw just had it on). The waiters kept saying to me "Manchester, Manchester" thinking it was a United shirt. People started coming in and asking them if they were going to show the All Ireland final (Tyrone and Armagh that year) but the waiters didnt even know where Ireland was. They were all wearing green shirts with shamrocks on them though...

  18. well said......

  19. hmmm...didn't know the U.S. had pubs. I thought we just had bars, though I live in a dry county so my town has neither!

  20. I agree!! I love Dublin!!!

  21. irish pubs are better obviously! america dont even have pubs not real pubs anyway... the atmosphere and drinking seen in irish pubs cannot be replicated anywhere else in the entire world!

  22. Irish pubs are the best...hands down.

As far as that goes, Dublin is Mardi Gras 24/7....LOVED IT!!!

  23. The Irish pub wins hands down,  thats it question over!what an atmosphere and much more friendly. You always get Irish people in an Irish pub(around the world) but never many americans in the american pubs.
