Did you have to get out of your vehicles or were you just asked a few questions and waved on through?

Within the last month or two?

  1. I was born in Canada but we live in the states. We drive up to Canada all the time to visit family. When you get up to the border they just stop you, ask you a few questions (how long are you staying, where are you staying, whats your reason for being here) and check your papers. Just make sure you don't have anything illegal, clearly. No they don't just wave you through. Everyone gets stopped. Coming back to the states, they can be a little rude at times but it's basically the same procedure.

  2. For the most part, they just ask you a few questions like how long you plan on being there, what you're planning on doing, stuff like that. Pretty simple and easy. They check you IDs and everything also, then they pretty much just let you go.

  3. well they mostly just ask u a few questions and ur fine but if ur suspicious or just at random they might ask you to get out of your car... just act really friendly and stuff, and put a bottle of water in the front (so they don't think you were drinking or something) and you should b fine.
