  1. I have been to Germany, and am considering moving here.  You cannot beat the Bavaria area.

  2. I have lived in Germany as a American soldier and now as a civilian for around 22 years.  I lived in and around Mannheim for 11 years.   Lots of stuff to do and pretty much in the middle.

Now live near Nurnberg in Bavaria.  Friendlier people, better food and beer.  Country side is prettier and making trips into Czech.

A wonderful country to visit, just wish the weather included more blue skies and sunshine.  But Italy and Spain are not all that far.

  3. I really hope your a German with very little understanding of English grammar..good luck to ya.

  4. Loved it. Old relations.

  5. I was stationed In Mainz am.Rhine between 76-82 while in the Army. Gutenberg invented the printing press and six of the original Bibles are on display in a museum there. Mainz is also the birthplace of Fasching.(A European Mardi Gras).

  6. Kassel.  64-65.  Liked it.  Bier was very good.  Country beautiful.  People friendly and a lot of them spoke English which was good for me because I couldn't speak German.  Long time ago.  I'm sure it's probably the same today.

  7. Ich besuche Familie in einer kleinen Stadt ungefähr 20 Minuten aus Nurnberg jedem zweitem Jahr. Ich liebe Deutschland, es ist so schön und hat hinter gelegt. Ich möchte dort irgendwann bewegen.

  8. I lived in RP in the town of Frankenstein (near Hochspeyer) for four years.  I loved it.  Would go back in a heartbeat.

I also was a military history tourguide, part time.  Great job.

  9. My husband and I visited Wurzburg, Nuremburg, and caught a cruise up the Rhine in Boppard. We loved Germany. It is a very pretty country. We were there during the Christmas season, and I very much enjoyed the Christmas markets.
