Do you have to buy it once you are there? How much more did it cost you? How does that whole thing work?

  1. when you rent a car in Ireland it is already covered by car insurance so dont let that worry you

  2. It goes into rental package and is pricey especially for people who have never driven on the other side of the road.  I watched a couple crash a rental car before getting it out of the gate.

The best bet would be to pick a location where there is a lot to see and use the bus, or train both have tour options which are very reasonable.

Go look at rules of the road at http://www.allthingsshannon.com/index.ph...

There are some links to Irish Rental Car agencies too

  3. Got it as a package deal with the rental, it all cost  a fortune, not sure how it worked really. Try to arrange a car rental before your get to Ireland. The whole thing was very pricey.

Take trains and buses as much as possible, that really worked out well, very easy. In some areas - you will definitely need a car.

  4. Well, a couple of things you might want to consider.I've had good luck here...http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/an...

  5. 1. You buy insurance.

    2. If your car crashes you get a few bob.
