  1. Awwww!  I get it!!!  Your SISTER is the caterpillar.  She is not yet what she will be, and you must be patient with her.

No, it is NOT a coincidence.  Things like this happen to me often, either right before or right after a dream, to confirm the message and make it clearer.  It's a gift from God!

Last month, I went to my Uncle Ron's  funeral a few hundred miles away.  As we left the town where he had lived, there was a slight traffic jam.  All the cars ahead of us were driving slowly and swerving around something.  When we reached the "swerve spot" there was a turtle crossing the road!  Everyone was swerving to miss the turtle.  Nobody wanted to hurt the turtle.  They were patient, giving it a chance to get across so it would be ok.

When I got home, my Uncle Ron's wife, Aunt Shar called me.  She said, "My sister had a dream.  Can you help interpret it?  She dreamed a voice said, "Ron said that is not your gift.  You are like the turtle."  Seeing that turtle had prepared me to answer her dream.  I said, "She is comparing herself to you, Aunt Shar.  You are the pretty one, the artistic one, the "flashy one".  She is the quieter sister, and she feel inferior to you.  (Aunt Shar had been wonderful and gracious, even at her husband's funeral!)  I said, "Tell you sister she is comparing herself to someone.  God let Uncle Ron be the "messenger" in the dream.  She compares herself to someone with "flashier" gifts, but her gifts are just as important.  Turtles are persistent.  They don't give up.  Like in the story of the "hare and the tortoise the turtle wins the race because it just kept going when the rabbit took a nap.  She is strong, like the turtle's shell.  She may not be "flashy" but when you polish tortoise shell, it makes gorgeous jewelry.  Even turtle soup in nourishing, and she is a nurturing person.  Maybe whoever she compares herself to gets lots of attention and compliments, but everyone loves and respects her, too, for her gifts.  Just like the people loved and respected the turtle who was crossing the road, and wanted it to make it, because they value the turtle and admire its persistence."

My Aunt called her sis and explained it to her, but did not say, 'You are comparing yourself to me."  She just said, "You are comparing yourself to someone."  Her sister cried and said, 'I have always thought you were the pretty one, the smart one... you are the peacock and I am the wren!"  My Aunt told her, "Well, you were always SO good, and smart, and I wanted to be like you!"  So they cried together and encouraged each other.

God had let me see the turtle so I could interpret the dream. That has happened to me many times.  It is incredible how that works.  So, YES, that is why you saw the caterpillar.  Your sister, if treated with love and patience and respect, will grow to be a lovely butterfly and you will be SO glad she is your sister.  Keep that relationship sweet so she will still love you when she becomes a butterfly!

    God bless you!
