Anybody know which of these places is prettier? Looking for quaint rather than historic.

  1. All are nice but as I remember it Amiens was the prettiest.

  2. Take the three - short distances/toll motorway -

  3. St Omer

  4. St. Omer would probably be the best choice, both Arras and Amiens were badly damaged during WW1,although now largely restored.

  5. Amiens is well-known because of its exceptional cathedral (one of the biggest in France you can compare it with Canterbury one). I don't really know the rest of the city.

Arras has got two typical north style places and if you like architecture you will obviously like it. There are beautiful streets and buildings around too. Not so much shops their.

St-Omer has got more little commerce streets and lovely too.

    Smaller than Arras and Amiens.

    Bon voyage!
