Amika Flat iron!!!!?

Hi, so i went to the mall the other day and this lady tried the amika straightener on me and it worked really well. but i do think it was kinda pricey,,

so here are the questions?

Is it worth the money?

how long does it last?

Does it work well?

would you recommend it?

hey um i used to have one but first of all it fried my hair and broke after two days um but we might have diffrent types of hair but i think the chi is the better bet i think there about the same price and the chi for me works alot better so i reccomend the chi butagain i dont know what type of hair you have so anyways good luck bye!!!:)

well- first of all about a month ago iwent to a kisok in the mall- its for hair straighteners- so I got suckered into buying it it cost me 180 and the lady said it is usually $220 so i got a "deal"  yeah rite- its called CORTEX  -- anyways its pretty good but after i went home and went on folica.com and got some info and I could have bought the same dam thing for like under $50!!! so i dont think the money is worth it and I hear they last ONLY for about 1 yr!!
