  1. In amines H of NH3 are substituted from organic radicals:

primary amines, 1 H is substituted: general formula R-NH2

    secondary amines, 2 H are subst. : R1R2-NH ( possible R1=R2 )

    tertiary amines, 3 H are subst. : R1R2R3-N ( different or same radicals )

Amides are either organic functional groups: carbonyl group ( C=O ) linked to N,

    a kind of nitrogen anion,

a substance derived by the replacement of a hydroxyl group by an amino group

    Formulas see:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amide

Imines derive either from aldehydes, general formula RCH=NR ( aldimines ) or

from ketones, general formula R2C=NR ( ketimines )

  2. Amide is an organic compound that contains a carbonyl group bound to nitrogen

Amine is an organic molecule which consists of an ammonia molecule where one or more of the hydrogen atoms has been replaced by organic groups.

An imine is a functional group or chemical compound containing a carbon-nitrogen double bond.

I'm afraid I dont know the difference, possibly Amide and Amine are organic compounds.

In google type this, 'Define: Amine' for each one and this will give you an explanation for each.
You're reading: Amine amide imine?
