Amir Khan: Kell Brook will lose to Zab Judah – Boxing News
Amir Khan, in his recent media interaction, clearly said that fellow British fighter Kell Brook will lose to Zab Judah. He even said that he has no plans on facing Brook anytime soon. It should be noted here that Brook has been insisting on having a match
against Khan for quite some time now, however the British-Pakistani boxer has indicated no such plans.
Khan who is currently training for a title rematch against Lamont Peterson thinks Brook is nowhere near to his caliber. According to Khan, “Come on, man. Kell Brook? I used to spar with that kid in the amateurs. I was 135lbs or 140 at the time and I used
to just take him apart. Honestly, they used to say to me, 'You're only allowed to use one hand against him,' because I used to beat him up that bad. The other hand was never up there [protecting the face]. I would only use my jab. I can't believe out of the
woodworks he just comes out and says he wants to fight me and that he can beat me and I'm running scared. I mean, he's been talking so much trash.”
While Khan finds the idea of fighting Brook an insult for his career, Brook thinks otherwise. Brook has been pretty respective towards Khan, and has previously mentioned that fighting the former unified champion has been his dream. Probably, after learning
about Khan’s reaction, Brook would want to choose another opponent.
Not only Brook, even Zab Judah has indicated that he wants to face Khan. Judah in his recent interview said that after beating Brook he would want to face the winner of Khan-Peterson rematch. Even though Judah believes that Khan is done now and will lose
to Peterson, he still says he wants to beat the Brit before moving ahead with his career.
The ever confident Khan finally said that he walks by people like Judah and Brook and they do not even dare to look at him. He then said that when he went to Brook’s town, people were showing him more respect than they have ever showed to Brook.
