Question:

Amir Khan; are the British public growing 'tired' of his wins - or suspect he's getting 'easy' opponents?

Didn't manage to see the fight on telly, but just arrived home, and looked up Mr. Khan's 'curriculum vitae', Wikipedia stylee - and to see if the result of his final fight had been added.

Indeed it was...in the most extraordinary prose;

On April 5th 2008, Khan beat Kristjansen in the 7th round of a WBO World Lightweight. There is some speculation as to whether Khan cheated, after he sucker punched his opponent whilst he was on the floor. Khan then proceeded to remove his shorts and stroke his d**k until he attained a hardon and ejaculated on his eyebrows.

Nasty, disrespectful and British (that's for sure) - but does the person who wrote that in Wikipedia mirror a whole nation.

  1. The same was true of Frank Bruno...he appeared invincible until he met real word class fighters...then......

  2. PEOPLE ARE JUST JEALOUS

    OF SUCCESS

IF HE WINS HE GOT HIS BOOTY KICKED TOO

I WATCHED THE WHOLE FIGHT IF HE WON

    GOOD ON HIM

    KEEP ON GOING I SAY

DONT BRING IN  P USSYS TO FIGHT HIM THEN

  3. you didnt miss much ,pretty dismal performance by the pair of them,Khan panting like an old dog by round 3/4,the 30yrold dane was dwarfed by the asian mush again similar to his last fight,it's like Audley Harrison rip off via Warren all over again,id not pay or even go to see khan if he was fighting outside my local pub(there's better fights there.Pathetic

  4. Kahn for the point he is at in his career is progressing well.

Bull, Limond, & Lawton were all decent national level fighters

Earl was a solid Euro class fighter

Then he advanced to St. Claire who was a former 130 champion.

Martin Kristjansen wasnt his best opponent, but it was likely just a holding/timing fight until someting bigger breaks loose.

My bet is Romanov is his next opponent.

  5. Check this question, you'll understand where most fight fans are at

Weve been here before with Naseem, its difficult to get excited. I like Khan as a person but it all seems so fake.

  6. Amir Khan?? HAHAH i luagh in your face that kid sucks

hes got one of the worst chins out there and all his fights are HAND PICKED by his team when this kid gets up there with the big boys he will get his as* knocked out

  7. i think he shud be put into the next weight catagory

if u see how big he is compared to his oponents hes bound to win

hes only just scraping the catagory hes in

  8. No.

People are a bit cynical about some of the easy fights he's had, but I think mostly the cynicism is aimed at Frank Warren.

Amir is young, good looking, and successful, they'll always be some idiots eaten up with bitterness and jealousy, but they are not typical.

  9. I LIKE AMIR BUT TONIGHT I THINK HE'S A CHEAT HITTIN SOME1 WHEN THERE DOWN IS OUT OF ORDER AND THEY WASN'T LIGHT PUNCHES !!

  10. ignoring your witless and probably intentionally cantankerous last comment about the british, amir khan - who at such a young age hasnt even started getting anywhere near his peak yet - will be world champion before christmas, and then his armchair critics will have to find something else to complain about...

just like the people who doubted 14 years unbeaten joe calzaghe had to do - calzaghe gave jeff lacy a comprehensive boxing masterclass

  11. no- i watched the fight and Khan wasn't so hot in the first few rounds but then he just steamrollered the other guy!

    Respect where it's due...Khan is a brilliant boxer!!xx;-)

  12. To be frank does anyone really care?

  13. yep, growing tired of it - he sounds like an arrogant little t**t!

  14. if he fights jnr witter then ill join the hype

  15. in my own humble opinion - and being a massive boxing fan,i question Khans integrity for the future.I believe the publics disdain for Khan is due to the over-the-top commercialism of it all.genuine, hard working, talented boxers frown upon this because it is being handed on a silver platter- with a big chunk of change.

Khan should be clearing up domestically, before so arrogantly talking of world title shots.I believe he is swerving the likes of Jono Thaxton and wbc youth champ John Murray.

And for any purists out there,I'm aware the likes of Benn ,eubank etc didn't bother with English,British titles but opted for the world stage.

i just know that is why Khan is getting some bad press.i don't dislike him - i just want him boxing men just as good as his skill level,if not better.

Frank Warren is just making as much money out of Khan as possible before he has to lay his gold mine on the line against a legitimate opponent.

  16. you are repeating what my hubby said,he gets easy opponents that he knows he is going to win....

  17. the opponents are easy but its aa steady learning curve. what i would like to see is kahn fce a big puncher because every opponent he has faced so far have been light punchers personally a kahn paquiao fight would test his credential to be a superstar to the max
