Amir Khan says David Haye can beat Audley Harrison and the Klitschkos
WBA junior welterweight titlist Amir Khan believes that fellow heavyweight champ David Haye (24-1, 22 KOs) will beat Audley Harrison (27-4, 20 KOs) when they clash Saturday.
“King Khan,” who has his own fight to think about on December 11 with Marcos Maidana, also said that Haye is the only fighter in the heavyweight division with the skill-set to defeat the Klitschko brothers, who hold three of four major sanction body titles.
Speaking to the telegraph.co.uk, Khan said: “I see David [Haye] winning in six or seven rounds. David will win that fight [Haye vs. Harrison]. He has more world class experience.”
He added: “He has to fight the Klitschkos if he wants to make a lot more money. If he wants to unify the titles, he has to fight them. I think he can beat the Klitschkos because he has the style and the movement to beat them. He has the speed to beat them,
because they’re straight up fighters. The only one to beat them in the division is David.”
Khan confirmed what many have already expected of Haye, namely that he seriously sit down with either of the Klitschko brothers and arrange a fight.  Haye has retorted that he is unhappy with contracts offered by the brothers, and that he will not fight
them until he is treated with parity.
Though Harrison is an underdog against Haye, the fact has not stopped him from gaining the support of the British public, who are all but fed up with Haye ducking fights.
Former British heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis recently weighed-in on the bout and gave Harrison a puncher’s chance, saying anything could happen and that his skills should not overlooked.
Harrison, though a former Olympic gold medallist, has failed to live up to expectations following international amateur success.
He hopes to change that Saturday at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
