Amir Khan says Timothy Bradley has won most of his fights by headbutting his opponents – Boxing news
Amir Khan, who is the current unified World Boxing Association Super and International Boxing Federation Light Welterweight Champion, has claimed the Desert Storm, Timothy Bradley, has beaten most of his opponents by headbutting them.
Amir Khan, who is widely known as King Khan, in his exclusive interview to Fighthype.com stated the American pugilist Bradley uses his head as a weapon against his opponents.
Bradley, who has won 27 of his 28 professional fights (1 no contest), with 11 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, is set to meet Joel Casamayor on November 12, 2011 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This fight will be taking place on
the undercard of Manny Pacquiao versus Juan Manuel Marquez bout. Therefore, Bradley could set up a mega clash with Pacquiao as well.
However, Khan believes if Bradley fights Pacquiao, he will not get a chance to use his head. He also said the same about himself.
“Bradley has won most of his fights with his head. He’s cut a lot of his opponents with his head, I think. I think he’s cut every single one of his last five or ten opponents, and that’s what Manny will have to look out for,” Khan told Fighthype.com.
Khan continued, “Freddie’s ready for Tim Bradley. He told me ages ago, a long time ago, “Call Tim Bradley out. He will be an easy fight for you.” That’s what Freddie said to me. He has not fought anyone with mine or Manny’s style. If he led with that head,
we’ll punch that head if he wants to lead with it.”
Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world champion and the current World Boxing Organisation Welterweight World Champion. He also holds a magnificent record of winning 53 of his 58 professional fights (2 Draws), in which 38 of his wins came by the way of
a knockout. Therefore, a fight with Pacquiao will certainly be a huge test for Bradley.
