Amir Pasha to savour victory in the Champion Hurdle Free Bets With Freebetting.Co.UK Handicap Hurdle at Sedgefield
The Class 4 Champion Hurdle Free Bets With Freebetting.Co.UK Handicap Hurdle is to be hosted by Sedgefield over two miles and a furlong on Tuesday, 13th March. The race has assembled the lineup of seven runners and has a purse worth £2, 534.
An entry who has the ability to bounce back into form is Amir Pasha, Halling’s seven-year-old brown gelding out of mare Clarinda. The seven-year-old gave a highly promising performance in his seasonal debut that actually got him the race.
Amir Pasha won the Dine And View At Catterick Races Handicap Hurdle on 1st January at Catterick over two miles, with Wilson Renwick onboard. The winning pair led the track by 3 ¾ lengths.
Runner up of the race was Hi Dancer while the 5/2 favourite of the race, Karmadice got stationed at the third position.
Amir Pasha could not have had a better cracking into the new season however he failed dreadfully in the next two races that he took part in.
He was positioned eleventh on the field of twelve in the TurfTV Handicap Hurdle on 20th January at Catterick over two miles and three furlongs.
Amir Pasha’s third start of the season saw him finishing seventh with a field of nine racing in the Wolverhampton Hospitality – A Pleasure Handicap on 17th February at Wolverhampton over a mile and six furlongs.
Despite the two shocks that he has given the connections and the crowds, he did prove himself in his seasonal debut which does not render him being a lost and hopeless entry for the race. If he could do it before, he can accomplish it again.
Fourth start and second victory do sound good.
Another note worthy entry on the lineup is George Woolf, Iceman’s four-year-old bay gelding out of mare Beading. He will be racing his seasonal debut today and the final race of his 2011 season was a victory.
George Woolf won the National Coastwatch Juvenile Hurdle on 7th October at Newton Abbot over two miles and a furlong. He was able to shove away the 4/9 favourite of the race, Captain Sharpe into the runner up’s slot.
He will race after nearly five months today and can threaten the lineup, he is surely one who needs to be looked out for by Amir Pasha.
