  1. Well, he should start with one of the champions I think. Nate Campbell is the best out there in lightweight. Maybe pick up a title and unify vs Campbell for a big bucks fight.

  2. well at the moment i think he is on course for the winner of Campbell And Casamoyor. But i think before his title fight he should fight Thaxton and Romanov. Whether Khan wins or loses those bouts i think he should fight them before a world title fight. Or if he chooses to run from Thaxton then he should fight Katsidis.

  3. Complicated question due to the politics of the Sanctioning bodies.

Right now Nate Campbell has 3 out of the four belts (IBF, WBA, & WBO) so if he or the WBC champion David Diaz offered Kahn one of their voluntary defenses, that would be the fastest way.

After that he could face Joel Casamayor who has possession of the WBO & WBC Interim belts.  If he beat Casamayor, Khan would be the mandatory for both the WBC & WBO belts.

He could also take on the winner of Jose Alfaro vs Yusuke Kobori, as they are fighting for the "regular" WBA belt since Campbell is recognized as the "Undisputed"  Champion.

After this it gets really confusing, and has to do with his rankings, and who the sanctioning bodies choose for title eliminators.

Right now in the WBA he is ranked 11th (as of February).

The IBF has him ranked 10th (as of March)

    WBO has him ranked 3rd

    WBC has him ranked 5th

WBA there are no open spots for eliminators so he would have to wait for those above him to lose or collect more wins to move up.

IBF has the #1 & #2 contender positions open so if he was chosen he could fight an eliminator to hold one of these spots and become a mandatory challenger.

WBO is his best ranking and is VERY friendly to European fighters, and has a good relationship with Frank Warren, so Khan could be looking at a titleshot there soon.  But WBO champion has more control over the opponents he chooses to fight so he could avoid Khan for awhile if he wanted.  Kristjansen his last opponent was #4 in WBO so Khan is looking at moving up in those rankings.

I believe in the WBC Khan is ranked high enough that he qualifies to be picked as a mandatory opponent if David Diaz so chose to fight him.

Other ways he could move up would be to win a regional belt, or a minor belt.

Like I said when you are dealing with the sanctioning bodies things get really complicated.
