Question:

Amish Friendship bread quetsions?

Bonjour! So I got some amish friendship bread last night. :] I put it in the fridge for the night, since I got it at like 11.

Anyways, I was reading over the directions, and it said I can't use metal tools ie: bowls and spoons. Is it okay to use plastic then? I don't have any wooden spoons or anything. And all my mixing bowls are plastic. So is that okay?

And as far as my dough goes, do I make it all, or do I like save a portion of the dough to give to friends or whatever?

Thanks. :]

  1. Plastic is fine to use! The directions should tell you, but usually you do save a portion to give away!

  2. Did you put the bread or the dough in the fridge?

Because you are NOT supposed to put the dough in your fridge/freezer.

    and plastic is fine

    EDIT:

If it was the dough for one night i dont know how bad that would be. Since your dough has yeast in it you dont want to put it in cold or heat. That will effect the growth of yeast which is a bacteria.  I haven't put it in the fridge so I dont know how bad that effects it.
