My question is addressed to those who oppose "amnesty" for illegal immigrants. These are honest questions; I would like to know how people on the other side of this debate think.Where is the line between amnesty and reform? Will you be satisfied with anything short of mass deportation? What would be the impact on Mexico (and on the US) if millions of angry, unemployed deportees suddenly are returned there? If national security is one of your concerns, of what value is locking the front door (Mexico) if we leave the back door (Canada) open? What do you think of the argument that our labor market depends on these workers? What do you think is fair to US-born children of illegal immigrants? Do you care?I appreciate your insights. Thanks.
