Among the world's pool (billiards) players, who do you think is the best of all time? Why?

This is obviously an opinion-based thing, but preferably, you can cite statistics and then balance that with the intangibles (clutch performance, most major titles, etc.)

The most impressed I've ever been by players was Rayes and Alison Fisher.  Fisher flat out dominates the WPBA, if it wasn't for Caren Corr, Fishers stats would be astronomical off the charts, rather then just off the plant... haha

This is really a hard question as there are many great players from Johnny Archer to Earl Strickland to Karen Corr. I have always thought highly of Allison Fisher. She can do it all and over 50 titles I think. That is impressive. Efren Reyes is also a sure fire contender for best player ever. He has made some of the best shots ever made. Including his famous kick shot against Earl Strickland
