Amortization chart calculator. Is one more accurate than another ?

Is this ok for calculating my mortgage or is there anything more accurate ?

  1. Should be ok. Every amortization calculator uses the same amortization formula. See the link below:

  3. They all use the SAME formula.

    Investopedia says: If you know the term of a loan and the total periodic payment, an easy way to calculate an amortization schedule is to do the following: Starting in month one, multiply the loan balance by the periodic interest rate. This will be the interest amount of the first month's payment. Subtract that amount from the total payment, which will give you the principal amount.

    ALSO: You can you use a very easy to use template provided by MS Excel. Just search for Loan Amortization Schedule. This is the one I love the most.  You can also compare it with the one from Bankrate.com to doublecheck :
