Amount of Tips?

Hey all,

Im working at Dunkin Donuts 1st shift (7:00-3:00). How much on average each day will I leave with tip money?

I have no idea, but it probably helps on what days you work. Some people are struggling in the middle of the week. Its also depends on how likable you can be too. Good Luck!!

I wouldn't expect a whole lot.  Historically people haven't tipped a lot at places like that.  Until starbucks rolled around it wasn't normal to tip for a coffee.  I think it'll be on the rise in the future though.  If you like tips you're better off at a dine in restaurant or bar.   That's where the tips are.

my friend works at dunkin donuts, and he doesn't usually make that much in tips. maybe like $3 or $4 if you're lucky.

but if you work the breakfast shift, like you said, you may get more.
