Amoxicillin capsules BP 500mg?

Question

I'm on amoxicillin capsules BP 500mg for toothache at the moment, it dont say that you cant drink alcohol on them does anyone no if you can?

It decreases the effectiveness of the medication, so you shouldn't drink unless you want to have to take more pills.  Plus antibiotics are hard on the stomach and drinking will make it worse.  If the problem is in your mouth, the alcohol could also dry out the tissue, making the problem worse and healing harder.

Don't drink alcohol while you are taking them.

It is recommended that you do not drink.

You can just take it easy as you are suffering from an infection or absis that is why you were proscribed an anti-biotic
