Amoxicillin for strep throat?

I have strep throat and my doc gave me a prescription for that.. and incase i got a yeast infection he gave me one for that too...

but i cant figure out which was which. Is amoxicillin good for strep throats.. or you think that could be the yeast infection one?

  1. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic used to treat infections, like your strep throat.  Most antibiotics will also kill the "good" bacteria found in the v****a which keep yeast in check.  This is why your doctor gave you medication, probably  Diflucan, for a yeast infection.
