Amp i going to have to replace "The Big 3"?

I am going to have a total of 1600 watts rms in my car for my sound system. Do i need to replace the big 3? or can i leave them alone if i have a 0 gauge kicker amp kit installed?

    if you have a large truck or SUV you may be able to avoid it depending on your alternator, but here is a simple test

    with the sounds on up past halfway, you need to turn on your headlights and an accessory or two like your AC and/or rear defrost and if the lights dim noticeably then you need to upgrade-- doing it in order like mfrommel said


  2. That is a lot of power-you should upgrade.Google "the big three upgrade" it is very easy to do..

  3. That would probably be a good idea because of all the watts. This is the order you should upgrade your stuff:

    1-The big 3 wires

    2-New battery (optima or similar brand)

    3-Then if needed High Output Alternator
