I have a new amp and 10" sub. Wired it up myself and it all works, but my amp is amplifying feedback noises such as the cd spinning in the head unit etc. I posted on here before and everyone said it had somehting to do with my wiring. I hooked up my firends amp (which is pretty much the same as mine, the same brand etc, just a bit less powerful) to my system and there was no feedback at all. Worked great. So whats wrong wiht my amp???????

  1. Basically your amp is picking up the noise from the signal input.  If you are using the RCA preouts then make sure that they are not run parallel to power wires or wire bundles.  If they must cross a power wire or bundle of wires then make sure they cross perpendicular.  Also make sure your cables have adequate shielding on them and try to use the shortest RCA's possible.  If you are running line level and not using the head unit's RCA preouts then rewire the system and take advantage of the preouts!  Other than that, make sure the amp and head unit have a nice solid ground.

  2. heres what you got a. you have a bad amp some how it got a power feed back on the board inside it happens or add another ground and recheck your amp settings sometimes if you up your filter wide open you will have that noise

  3. this probably wont help but have you tried to play with hte k***s on your amp? and do you have it set to lpf or hpf? it should be set to lpf for a sub
