Amp problems!?

i bought this amp and i have it hooked up too my battery and i can touch the ground wire from the amp to the car and i get a spark so that means i have power to it. but the darn thing wont turn on!

  1. it could be the remote more than likley there is a fese blown in the amp from arking the ground. if the fuses are goos use a jumper from the positive to the remote. also doing this you will need the ground attached as well


  2. have you hooked up the remote wire.

    the little one only needs 1v to tell the amp to turn on.

    it is normally wired from the headunit's remote/electric areal output. or the ignition barrel (assesory positon)

    to test it you can use a spare piece of wire and jump it from the live to the remote to see if it turnes on.

    2nde trhe amp will have its own fuse built on it. check that this hasnt blown as it will allow power to the amp but not actually turn it on.
