Amp with stock radio?

im putting my after market amp in my 2001 dakota and i kno i need a line output convertor but i want a good one any suggestions and also how do i kno if i have a stock amp or where it is located

Scosche, Metra, And stinger all make a good converter.

As for the factory amp. If you have the regular factory CD player, you don't have one. The only time you have to worry about that is if you have the factory integration system. Like the bose or monsoon in the GM models.

The brand is not going to matter at all, they are nothing more than resistors. So go to any audio shop and pick one up fro between 10 and 20 bucks.
