Question:

Amplifier Not Firing Up?

Hi, I recently installed an aftermarket audio system, comprising of amplifier, subwoofer, power capacitor, new head unit, and new speakers. I have everything connected up, everything works, except for the Amplifier, which powers the subwoofers. I have "charged" my 1.6f capacitor(CAP160DBL (PYRAMID)) so it now reads "12.0" volts using the 12v light bulb supplied with it. I have replaced the light bulb with the fuse, and it stays steady at around 12-14 volts when car is turned on. I have the capacitor connected directly to the battery, and also connected directly to the Amplifier(PB336GX (PYRAMID)) using the power cable. Problem is, the amplifier power LED isn't turning on, and it isn't receiving power. I do not have a voltmeter(which I wish I did). Any advice, please?

Thanks very much!
