Amplifier no sound when engine is running?

Question

I have a kicker kx250.2 amp, a pioneer sub and stinger cap and wiring kit, the sound is good when the engine is not running but if the engine is running there is no sound but cap and amp are still on. Can anybody help me with this, thanks!

Try looking at both your REMOTE wire for your setup and your GROUND wire for your setup.

The REMOTE wire should be a red or yellow color connecting your amplifier to your power source. (Battery)

The GROUND wire should be orange or black and should have a secure connection to a metal plate in your car in order to creat a circuit.

My guess is the REMOTE wire. Make sure it is secured, and all should be well. :)
