Amron Lad favourite for Whizz-Kidz Charity “Fixed Brush” Novices´ Hurdle
Amron Lad has been rated as favourite for the Whizz-Kidz Charity “Fixed Brush” Novices´ Hurdle at Haydock in England on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The class-4 event has a cash prize of £2,599.
A total of eight runners will be fighting against each other over the 2 mile 4 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 4:55 GMT. Following are the entries confirmed for the event: Amron Lad, Global Fella, Holywell, My Farmer Girl, Loughalder, Scourie
Bay, The Banana Man and Iron Cross.
Donald McCain’s trainee, Amron Lad, has the best chances of winning the race today, as he has been doing a decent job in his recent outings. He has entered three hurdles until now, winning none of them. However, he has secured a couple of runner up spots
and one third place finish, which suggests that he is a quality runner and has a very good chance of bringing up his maiden victory.
The five-year-old gelding has got a lot of potential, thus the bookmakers have full faith in his abilities. His most recent race proved to be a very good one, as he ended up runner up in it. This was not a bad result at all, so the punters will be interested
in placing a lot of bets in his favour.
Amron Lad will be partnered by Jason Maguire, who is one of the best in the business. He has got 250 race victories over hurdles to his name at the moment, which will encourage the bettors to place maximum bets on his horse.
Other than the race favourite, Holywell will also be the one to watch out for. He had an impressive start to his career, as he did well in a few races. He is in good rhythm at the moment, thus there is every chance of him fighting for victory at Haydock
today.
The five-year-old gelding has participated in a couple of hurdles until now, winning one of them. His recent form is also good, which will encourage the punters to place bets on him.
Jonjo O'Neill’s trainee will be partnered by veteran jockey, A. P. McCoy, who needs no introduction at all.
Global Fella, My Farmer Girl and Loughalder will also be the ones to watch out for, as they have the potential of causing an upset at Haydock today.
