Amry job Carpentry and Masonry Specialist (21W) ?

Question

i love carpentry.

what do they do is it cool!?

wheres basic and a school?

and where do they get stationed?

and before u tell me ask your recruiter he said he does not know.

nothing is fun in the army.  for anything "fun" you do for an hour, there are 23 hours of either preparing, or cleaning up.  if you love carpentry go become a journeyman in a union.  you'll get as much work as you want, and you'll get PAID.  however...if you still want a nerdy job in the Army, 21W can go to basic at any of the non-combat arms basic training sites, and you'd go to AIT at fort leonard wood, missouri.  you can be stationed anywhere.

I love my country also. I did just that at Fort Leonard Wood ,in Missouri in 1966. Also could do reserves and work in one of those trades you like the best, I was a mason for 40 years. Good Luck. They will not train you in the army, as I was a journeyman and trained them
