Amso confused pls answr ...do punjabis follow sikhism?

are sikhs muslims??because in hindi movies have seen punjabis going to mosque n referring GOD as RABBA...is there any kinda connection ...am too confused about this..i know its a dumb question sorry for that...please gimme an answer ONLY IF YOU KNOW..

  2. **Sikhs are followers of the religion Sikhism. Punjabis are people of live in the state of Punjab in India and there is also a Punjab in Pakistan. In India, it happens to be true that many Punjabis are believers of Sikhism, but they are two separate things. It's as if one state, take California for example, had a majority of Christians in that state. That doesn't mean Californians are Christians.
    **btw the "mosque" or "mazar" is **NOT** what the building Sikhs pray in is called, it's a Gurudwara
