Amsterdam? Schiphol?

Question

I will be traveling from MSP to Cairo Egypt in August. I am supposed to spend around 10-12 hours in Amsterdam airport. What kinds of things can I do there? Btw, Im 18 years old.(male) also, i heard that i can check in to a hotel connected to AMS for a few euros and take a nap and shower. Is this true?

Actually, it's the nicest airport I've ever been in.  It has an art gallery and a casino.  Decent restaurants too.  I'm not sure about the hotel but I would not be surprised as it's a very large airport.

I think that the train into Amsterdam is about 30 minutes away but I'm not sure; it takes off right from the airport.  If you aren't feeling rushed you should at least walk around the city center, and buy a waffle and a dutch beer; it doesn't take long.  Don't take a picture of the prostitutes in their windows though, you'll get your **** kicked.

So call the Airport and make a booking into the day stay hotel. And girls are great, but you wouldn't have the time to know. Try to stay longer.
