  1. Depending on the kind of club. The drinking age limit in the Netherlands is 16 years for beer and wine and anything else under 15% alcohol percentage. For all other drinks it's 18 and over and yes, they will card you, they have sharpened their policy on that.

If you want to smoke pot, don't even try to get in, very strong policy on carding and no one under 18 will ever be let in.

Every club has it own policy most will have a 18 and over age limit, some might even have a 21 and over depending on the event.

If you just want to hang out and have fun in a bar/pub you'll be fine and still have a lot of fun. ( i assume)

  2. lol, you can do whatever you want in Amsterdam.  They don't have laws (practically).

  3. It would depend on what you guys would like to do.

Besides from parks and museums - you can go into a bar to enjoy a beer or two.

Smoking inside has been declared illegal since july 1st of this year - so if you want to come for the smoking - be aware of this.

If you want to go to a coffeeshop to get some 'cigarette enhancements' - you MUST be 18 or you cannot buy it. They will most likely request proof of age.

Unlike what 'toms' has stated - there are laws, but certain types of activities like smoking weed are not really frowned upon.

Just behave yourselves, have a good time, and you shouldn`t run into too much trouble :)

  4. Yea u can go to bars and cafes and drink beer when your 16.
