Amsterdam living expenses?

Question

Could anyone tell me where in Amsterdam has the best priced apartments for rent? Also, how much is average cost for living in a rental there? I leave for there next fall if all works out. I plan to study at the university there.

Anyone please help?

be fast, ask the university to help getting a room. there are students houses. A room will cost  some 400 euro or more a month. Rooms for studnts are scarce so be quick. ask the student department of the Univ for help.
