Amtrak - Lower Level Coach vs. Upper Level Coach?

Question

What are the differences between lower level coach and upper level coach on Amtrak trains? Any advantages to either one? I ask because they are priced the same. Thanks!

lower lever rides better, upper has nice view.

I have seen that more people take the lower level, perhpas because they dont want to climb the steps but you have a better chance of having a seat to yourself on the upper level.
