  1. Most Israelis speak English, but not all.  Most immigrants take intensive Hebrew classes when they get there, which you should do.

  2. red_klinik,

Call the Israeli Consulate in your area and tell them your status.  They will be able to further assist you.

As for the Hebrew language, there are programs as soon as you arrive to Israel that will help you learn.  The consulate will guide you to the correct people that you will have to be in contact with in order to make all the necessary arrangements.

You will be required to know at least basic Hebrew, but the fact that you speak English is very much an asset.  Depending on your profession or education, you may have to take exams for any professional certification.

Many people have done this successfully.

    Good Luck!

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Miche ; })
