An Overview of NFL Week 7 (Part 1)
Week 7 of the National Football League Regular Season featured 13 games, which took place on Sunday October 24th and Monday October 25th, 2010.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons
The Bengals (2-4) lost to the Falcons (5-2) with a final score of 32-39. The passing leader for Cincinnati was Palmer, who went 36-50 for 412 yards and 3 TDs. Benson led in rushing with 20 carries for 70 yards, while Shipley was the receiving leader with
6 receptions for 131 yards and 1 TD.
The passing leader for Atlanta was Ryan with 24-33 for 299 yards and 3 TDs. The rushing leader was Turner with 23 carries for 121 yards and 2 TDs, The leader in receptions was White with 11 for 201 yards and 2 TDs.
The Bengals managed 469 offensive yards and 1 turnover in 30:22 of possession time, while the Falcons had 452 yards and 2 turnovers in their 29:38 of play.
Washington Redskins vs. Chicago Bears
The Redskins (4-3) defeated the Bears (4-3) with a final score of 17-14. Washington’s lead passer was McNabb with 17-32 for 200 yards and 1 TD. The lead rusher was Torain with 21 carries for 125 yards, while Moss was the receiving leader with 5 receptions
for 63 yards and 1 TD.
Chicago’s passing leader was Cutler, with 26-40 for 281 yards and 1 TD. The leader in rushing was Forte with 10 carries for 41 yards, and the leader in receptions was Knox with 6 for 86 yards and 1 TD.
The Redskins collected 308 offensive yards and 3 turnovers in 29:12, while the Bears had 322 yards and 6 turnovers in 30:48 of possession time.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tennessee Titans
The Eagles (4-3) lost to the Titans (5-2) with a final score of 19-37. Philadelphia’s leading passer was Kolb with 16-48 for 231 yards and 1 TD. The leader in rushes was McCoy with 16 carries for 48 yards, while the receiving leader was Avant with 6 receptions
for 60 yards.
Tennessee’s leader in passing was Collins with 17-31 for 276 yards and 3 TDs. Johnson was the rushing leader with 24 carries for 66 yards. The leader in receptions was Britt with 7 for 225 yards and 3 TDs.
The Eagles attained 326 offensive yards and 4 turnovers in 33:24 of possession time while the Titans had 328 yards and 3 turnovers in 26:36.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Jaguars (3-4) lost to the Chiefs (4-2) with a final score of 20-42. Jacksonville’s leading passer was Bouman with 18-34 for 222 yards and 2 TDs while Jones-Drew led in both rushing and receiving with 16 carries for 47 yards, and 5 receptions for 74 yards
and 1 TD.
Kansas City’s leader in passing was Cassel with 13-18 for 193 yards and 2 TDs. Jones was the leader in rushing with 20 carries for 125 yards and 1 TD while Bowe led in receptions with 3 for 81 yards and 2 TDs.
The Jaguars had 300 offensive yards and 3 turnovers in their 26:00 of play while the Chiefs racked up 426 yards and no turnovers in 34:00.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Miami Dolphins
The Steelers (5-1) defeated the Dolphins (3-3) with a final score of 23-22. Pittsburgh’s leading passer was Roethlisberger with 19-27 for 302 yards and 2 TDs. Mendenhall was the rushing leader with 15 carries for 37 yards while the receiving leader was Ward
with 7 receptions for 131 yards and 1 TD.
Miami’s passing leader was Henne with 23-36 for 257 yards and 1 TD. The leader in rushes was Williams with 11 carries for 48 yards while Bess was the leader in receptions with 6 for 66 yards and 1 TD.
The Steelers had 348 offensive yards and 2 turnovers in their 30:49 of play while the Dolphins had 313 yards and 1 turnover in 29:11.
