A damselfly glided across the horizon
Of my half opened eyes as I lay in the sun
She fluttered and settled on the edge of my glass.
As she rested her wings in indecision
I opened my eyes-cleared my vision,
I studied her passively
And took in her beauty, and
I wondered silently, as
She looked at me.
What do the eyes of a damselfly see?
Was this one seriously studying me?
Then as gently as she came to me
She moved her wings and winked at me,
Then she flew away softly and silently.
