  1. Hi!  As a former preschool teacher, I had some experience with this type of situation.  Here's what I found to be most effective -

    Answers a,b,and c worked best in my classroom.  For example, when giving a non-English speaking child a task, I would first use hand gestures, or demonstrate the task, while telling them what to do.  Since peer-to-peer teaching is also very good another child could demonstrate the task for them, while I tell them what to do.  It's very important, too, that you give the non-English speaking child extra time to accomplish the task, and be prepared to repeat instructions/demonstrate it 2 or 3 or more times - in order to avoid confusing them and causing a possible tantrum!
