Question:

An aesthetician might have scarred me?

I went in to get a facial, and the person doing it told me that I had a whitehead in the delicate skin under my left eye. She used a needle and it really hurt (I have gotten tons of facials before, nothing ever hurt before this). I ended up with a scab there. I showed it to the people in the front desk, and they said not to worry and that it will go away. It's about 2 months later, and I have a dot where this scab was. It's a dot exactly where the needle was inserted. Even if it's just a dot, it wasn't there before and I can't stand it. Is there anything they can do for me? Can they lance it off? It's troubling...

  1. Go to a proper dermatologist. Don't go back to an aesthetician. You should never let anyone but a doctor go poking at your face. Your dermatologist can recommend something to help the scarring.

  2. hmm, that is very weird. you should go back to that salon and show them. they will tell you if you can remove it or pop it or whatever
