Not cheap in regards to quality.

Most large scale farming uses some degree of chemical in their process.

  1. Most of the artificial or manufactured fertilizers and bug killers are based on petroleum and you should be aware of what gas prices are, so cheap is unlikely.  And of course, everyone involved in farming probably has hear the same news, so overproduction will happen and prices for food go down - relatively.

  2. People are now squeamish about chemicals in their food. Majority of consumers now have a tendency to look for "Green Food" meaning agricultural products that are not treated with chemicals. Yet here you are looking for chemicals and in large volume.

  3. Using cheap chemicals will give you cheap results. You normally only get one chance per season for a good crop. You would be lowering your chances by using cheap stuff. There is a reason they are cheap.

  4. i only thought there was boom on baby births and not agricultual things.
