  1. I enjoyed the film

  2. I don't think so, but it was very entertaining and the music was superbly chosen.  Watch Wallace and Gromit's Were-Rabbit if you want good visual references to it! And don't walk on the moors alone.....

  3. its a film but not based on any truth

  4. Its a true film but not a true story.

Werewolves are mythical creatures, unless you count the rare mental disorder where people believe themselves to be werewolves - clinical lycanthropy

or the physical condition where they appear to be wolfmen - hypertrichosis.

  5. It's a film, the pictures weren't real, werewolves are real.

But the story is not true in itself.

THE FILM IS NOT BASED ON A TRUE STORY.

    Understand this panel:

    1.

The film was made, using actors.

    2.

The film is recorded onto a film material, the film material is real.

    A.

From the film material (such as photographic film (made from plastic with some elements of nitrocellulose, acetate and polyester). This is then converted to tape.

    B.

Optical (or magnetic discs), are made from polycarbonate and many metallic alloys, such as tin, which is easily obtainable and usually cheap, thus the disc would be cheap for the film makers. This technology would be rare in the years the film was made.

    3.

The characters are not real, yet the actors, act like them from a written or generated script.

    A.

Though, optionally (not in this case), film may be generated by a computer and 2D and / or 3D modelling artists, using the newest technologies available at that time.

These films are 'animated', the film is not real, nor was the light that was caught by the camera, as the camera was non-existent.

    B.

Take note, from note number 1.

    4.

The story is not true, the story is based on a book author's imagination, of which was then took by the mind of film directors, to build the film.

    5.

The film crews (depending on the role) designed, acted, set-up and recorded throughout the film.

    6.

    Yes, werewolves are real.

Thus, the film IS NOT BASED ON A TRUE STORY.

I hope you understand the details.

Aghh, I'm just gonna drop my spade and stop digging. I'm obviously confusing you.

  6. Yes there was a film called that and I absolutely hated it.  To me it was one of the first horror flicks, and I found it really disturbing.  After watching that flick I have never watched a horror since.  I can't believe anyone would want to watch all that blood and guts...sick, sick, sick, and this movie was tame by comparison.

Here's the site if you want to check out the film:
