  1. 0.387 moles in 1 L of solution = 0.387 M

    Mass of 1 L ( 1000 mL) = 1230 g

    mass of HCl = 0.387 mol x 36.461 g/mol = 14.1 g

    mass water = 1230 - 14.1 =1215.9 g => 0.12159 Kg

    molality = 0.387 mol/ 0.12159 = 0.318
