  1. not sirius,but alpha centauri could have one,they did a computer simulation that suggests a planet the size of earth in orbit around it!!!

  3. Oh my.  A little surfing has found a possible planet for Alpha Centauri.  It could be 80% the mass of Jupiter in a 77 day orbit.  See the link.  Astronomers usually don't announce this kind of thing without higher confidence.

    No planets yet for Sirius . Sirius has a white dwarf companion star - Sirius B.

    I'm hoping for an Interferometric image of Alpha Centauri, either from the mighty Keck or the VLT. Perhaps such images have been taken, and i missed it.
