I dreamt that i was with my friend drinking, we both had a big bottle of wine each and we were just in my bedroom having a girly night in.

As the wine started to hit us we were acting really silly and swinging the bottles around when her bottle hit me in the neck!

I could feel the pulsing in my neck where it was cut and the blood pumping out..it had hit my main artery, i then started to black out very slowly...i awoke with sirens wailing in the background and i saw my mum n dad rushing around me crying.

Thats when i woke up from the dream.

Every feeling felt soo real! i could feel being drunk..the pain in my neck and even when i blacked out... i have never had a dream so realistic.

What could this possibly mean??

  1. Nightmares generally happen when we are experiencing internal conflict about something.

It could have a great deal to do with alcohol, but it could also be that uninhibited feminine energy is becoming quite a pain in the neck. Blacking out may mean that you would like nothing more than to deny or ignore what is happening.

The sirens in the dream as you are awaking (in the dream) are a "wake up call".  Mom and Dad are representing both your spiritual and analytical sides, and both are preparing for mourning. You don't have the luxury of simply closing your eyes and hoping it all goes away this time.

  2. Your dream suggests that you have some low-level but perhaps important warning signals going off from some inner concern about your habits with friends.

Fun is great and everybody ought to have all they can reasonably have - but if you find that you have habits that are impacting your life negatively, or those of others around you, it may be time to reconsider a few details and impose some self-control.  Even the most harmless 'night in' can result in damage - and such a dream is out of your own conscience, it is not from others.

Why so graphically real with all the sensataions you describe?  It's the mind's way of projecting a message to get your attention.  Dreams often exaggerate for this purpose - it is far from likely that you would be headed for such harm in the situation you describe, of course.  But the dream exaggerates simply to be noticed and considered, that's all.

    All the best to you.
