An easy way for Preschoolers to make?

I am teaching about Hannah out of the bible this Sunday. I am wanting the kids to make a "Hannah" doll and glue a baby to her. What is a really easy way to make a doll and baby?

Find a pattern/ picture of a Bible lady and copy it, (trace if copyrighted).  Have the children color the picture. You cut it out and glue on a tongue depressor stick.  The children can hold the stick to make her move.

Make the baby and glue on to Hannah.  If you want it to be removable use a small piece of velcro glued to Hannah and the baby.

Another idea is to glue small pieces of soft fabric to the baby. The children will enjoy touching it.

Put a ping pong ball in the center of a wash cloth.  Gather the cloth around the ball and secure at the base of the ball with a rubber band.  Now you have the head and 'Biblical robes'.  

Bring the two outer top corners of the cloth together in front to form 'mother's arms'.  Secure with another rubber band at the 'wrists'.

You now have a 'cradle' to hold a small toy baby.

Use Poster Boards,  Drawer simple girl and cut them out, then have the children finish them in class using colored pencils and cayons.  If they are old enough the cutting can also be done in class.
